After the inception of my new website in the Fall of 2020, I just did not have the mindset to write the newsletter. My biggest obstacle is what value can I bring to my subscribers that they do not already know or care to hear about. I also don’t want the content to be written by anyone or a 3rd party info just to fill their in box. The continuous increase in subscriptions energizes me. After months of pondering and looking for guidance and ideas, it finally came to me that my communication and sharing with you shall be authentic, establishing a connection, and providing value based on my journey and real estate and business insights.
Along my journey:
A brief intro, I’m a Gen X, born in the beautiful city of Bangkok, Thailand. My family is Chinese immigrant from Yunnan province in China and settled in Thailand in the 60’s. I grew up in a business-oriented family and today, I settled down in this amazing country of America with my husband, proudly raising our twin boys and growing my commercial real estate brokerage and investment.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a co-author of the #1 Amazon Best Seller “Success Habits of Super Achievers”, released in September 2020. This quote reminds me of the importance of seeking to be the best in what you love, do or desire and to persevere and achieve rather than trying to dabble in many. I started my real estate career in 2005 and knew from day one that I wanted to specialize in commercial properties and found love in the office leasing and investments. Through years of honing my skills in matching office properties and business owners, cultivating relationships, and gaining knowledge in complex office investments, I can say that I’ve truly been able to put in over 10,000 kicks in the office leasing environment vs 10,000 kicks in all other real estate disciplines. My determination to keep practicing and learning continues to grow and I hope you do the same and find joy in your work.
